The famous mission led to the first people to set foot on the lunar surface – namely Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin – back in 1969.
But, transcripts of from the event revealed the astronauts spotted strange craters and used unusual terminology to describe what they saw.
According to Express.co.uk Mr Aldrin said: “That’s a spectacular crater.”

Mr Collins replied: “Boy, there must be nothing more desolate than to be inside some of these craters, these conical ones.”
Mr Armstrong then added: “People that live in there probably never get out.”
Mr Collins then said: “Oh God, look at that Moltke (crater), he’s my favourite. Look at that son of a b****.”
“You see all those roads – triangular roads leading right past him?”
The exchange prompted conspiracy theorists on YouTube to accuse the US of ”covering up” proof of alien life.

Commenter HipHop Geek added: “So crazy all this proof we have and people still refuse to even think about the concept of other intelligences out there.”
But, Saved2theLight had a more logical explanation: “The astronauts had no clue.
“They were juvenile humans in an environment superimposing their own biases into what they saw. Wake up there is nothing out there.”
