A 10-day Mahanagar Mahotsav-2018 was inaugurated by Brahmapur Sub-Collector Bijay Kumar Dash at the KC High School ground here on Friday.
Local MLA and Mahotsav committee chairman Ramesh Chandra Chaupatnaik, Dr NC Padhy, BDA Chairman Subash Moharana, Mahotsav committee working chairman Uma Sankar Panigrahi, secretaries Manoj Kanta Dash, Biswanath Patnaik, Narayan Mahankuda, Surjya Narayan Dash, Sudhansu Panda, BMC Deputy Mayor Jyotna Nayak, Corporator Sanghamitra Dalai, Pitabash Mishra and Suken Dash attended as guests.
The guests said the Mahotsav would create an identity for Brahmapur. On the occasion, Guru Prasad Maharana, Anwesha Kala Kendra and Crezy Star dance group performed different dance forms. In the fes, 100 stalls of different States have been put.
