Jermaine Jenas singles out two Liverpool stars for criticism during West Brom clash
LIVERPOOL stars Emre Can and Alberto Moreno were singled-out for criticism by BT Sport pundit Jermaine Jenas at half time of tonight’s FA Cup fourth round clash against West Brom.
After Liverpool struck early through Roberto Firmino, the visitors fought back to race into a dramatic 3-1 lead.
A brace from Jay Rodriquez and an own goal from Joel Matip turned the game on its head for Alan Pardew’s side.
It was Rodriguez’s second goal which frustrated former Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder Jenas the most.
The pundit was critical of Germany international Can’s failed attempt to stop West Brom midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak ahead of the goal.

And then he took aim at left-back Moreno’s lack of defensive awareness as Rodriguez ran into the 18-yard area.
“In this one I just think Emre Can overcommits," Jenas said of the Liverpool man BT Sport.
“He’s gone to close down Krychowiak, he’s skipped by him, he’s had another nibble at him there, didn’t get to him.
“At this point I’m thinking ‘is Moreno sensing danger?’.

“And that man Rodriguez, who has been one of the best players on the park in the first 45 minutes, sticks it in the back of the net.”
