Maharashtra: Minibus falls into river in Kolhapur, 13 dead
KOLHAPUR: Nearly 13 people lost their lives and three others wounded after a minibus plunged into a river in Kolhapur city of Maharashtra on Saturday.

As per local officials, the incident occurred on Friday midnight in Panchganga river. Several people are still missing.
There were about 17 travellers in the bus when the incident took place.
On Friday, 3 women are badly wounded and was immediately taken to the Chhatrapati Pramila Raje Civil Hospital to undergo treatment.
As per the reports, the bus was going from Ratnagiri to Kolhapur on Friday midnight.
The incident took place after a driver lost control and the bus plunged into the river.
The investigation into the matter is in process by cops.
The evacuation teams tried to save only 3 passengers but 13 had lost their lives. Three individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The reports revealed that all the travellers belong from Balewadi in Pune, cops stated.
