TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Jontray Harris scored 21 points with five 3-pointers and pulled down 12 rebounds, six players reached double-digit scoring and Oral Roberts led from the get-go for a 105-74 defeat of tiny Nebraska Christian College on Saturday.
Emmanuel Nzekwesi scored a 3-pointer 12 seconds after the opening tip and the Golden Eagles (9-15) never trailed.
Nzekwesi finished with 16 points, Spencer Sutton added 12, Kellen Manek 11 and Chris Miller 10. Oral Roberts led by 25 at halftime and shot 51 percent with 12 3-pointers. The Golden Eagles scored 23 points off 12 Nebraska Christian turnovers and outrebounded the Sentinels 52-35. The rebounds led to a 20-7 edge on second-chance points and Oral Roberts outscored NCC 48-28 in the paint.
DJ Hanes scored 39 points to lead Nebraska Christian (14-7), which competes in the National Christian College Athletic Association.
