Construction closes part of Hillsborough Street through weekend

Raleigh, N.C. — A portion of Hillsborough Street will be closed to vehicle traffic in Raleigh through the weekend as part of a continuing construction project.
The road will be closed between Brooks Avenue and Faircloth Street as crews continue work on the Hillsborough Street Renewal Project. The street is scheduled to reopen on Monday at 6 a.m.
Businesses along the stretch are still open to foot traffic.
