COLLEGE STATION – Jimbo Fisher has rounded out his new staff at Texas A&M for a second time. Fisher has hired Elijah Robinson from Baylor as defensive tackles coach. Robinson had spent the past year under Bears coach Matt Rhule in Waco, and before that was with Rhule at Temple University.

“I am sad but grateful for all of the time I spent with (Robinson) … He did a great job for us at Temple and here at Baylor, and I want to wish him all the best as he starts this new chapter in his career,” Rhule posted to Twitter on Saturday.

Robinson replaces Jerry Montgomery, who had been with A&M for only a few weeks following his hire from the Green Bay Packers, and who chose to return to Green Bay this week as defensive line coach.

Robinson attended Penn State and is from Camden, N.J. He spent 10 years at Penn State as both a player and staff member, with the last two under Bill O’Brien, the current Texans coach, as director of community relations and NFL liaison.

Fisher retained defensive ends coach Terry Price from Kevin Sumlin’s staff, so the Aggies have two defensive line coaches on staff.
