Firefighters battled a pair of grass fires in western Oklahoma, one near Arapaho and another just east of Clinton off I-40.

The fire near Arapaho was actually small series of fires that sparked when atrailer hauling hay had a flat and the driver didn't notice for several miles.

The fire off I-40 burned approximately one and a half miles long by a quarter to half mile wide.

No structural damage has been reported. No cause has been reported.
