Last year she joined Heart Radio and now presents her own show from Monday to Thursday at 7pm.

Originally from Nottinghamshire, Sian, 31, lives in southwest London with two flatmates. 

“I’m lucky that I present my Heart show from Monday to Thursday, so I have Fridays off. I usually have two different types of weekends, depending on whether I’m visiting my boyfriend, Jonno, or not. He lives in Alicante, so I sometimes fly over there on a Friday morning and we’ll spend the weekend together in the sunshine. 

“If I stay in London, I try to catch up with friends on a Friday. We’ll go to somewhere like Nando’s for food and then stay in for a relaxed movie night."

“On Saturdays I like taking a walk through Battersea Park and strolling over Albert Bridge. Afterwards, I’ll head to Chelsea or Soho for brunch – Jackson + Rye is a favourite. In the evening, I’ll go out for drinks with friends. Archer Street Bar in Soho is my ideal place to go. 

“I enjoy a lie-in on Sundays, then I’ll get up and watch some trashy TV. In the afternoon, my flatmates and I might head out for a nice Sunday lunch to somewhere like Coal Rooms in Peckham. I spend my Sunday evenings catching up on TV and scouring the internet for stories that I can discuss on my radio show.

“Whenever I can, I also try to give my time to supporting good causes, such as The Sick Children’s Trust, which is a wonderful charity. My older sister sadly died from meningitis before I was born, so it’s a cause that’s close to my heart.

"If you have any kind of media profile, I think it’s important to use every opportunity to help raise awareness for the amazing work these charities do.”
