A BUSY road was closed for several hours following a serious crash on Friday evening.
Two vehicles collided on the A174 Eastbound at around 6.45pm, close to Coulby Newham.
The crash led to the road being closed until after 1am on Saturday and police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: “We are appealing for any drivers who were in the area immediately before the collision or at the time of the incident to come forward with information.
“The collision occurred in the Coulby Newham area on the eastbound off-slip road at Low Lane.
“We would like to thank motorists for their patience and cooperation while emergency services dealt with this incident.”
The force has not yet released details relating to the vehicles involved or whether any injuries were suffered as a result of the incident.
