What a week. Not a single Help! inquiry included a full name and address and so those questions will not be answered, which seems a shame.
So, for the first time this year, this: You MUST include your name and address to have an inquiry considered for publication here. We verify.
No name, no address, no Help!
Dear Help!: I read your article today about old trophies and wanted to share a use for these that might help some small groups. Years ago my husband belonged to a small motorcycle group and wanted to raise funds for Toys for Tots. Having little money, they decided on an October-themed fun race and needed awards (all entry fees were to go to charity), so they collected donated trophies.
We removed the name/award tags and the plastic tops (baseball, bowling, etc.) and replaced them with Dollar-store plastic, small pumpkins, filled the pumpkins with candy and these were the awards. The riders loved them. Perhaps you can suggest such a use if you are ever contacted by groups needing donations and ideas.

Dear Help!: I’m seeking someone to appraise my husband’s stamp collection, which dates back to the ’50s. I sent an inquiry to someone listed with stamp collectors in Florida but received no reply.

We’re so sorry for your loss. The man to contact has collected and sold stamps for decades: Carl Burnett of 21st Century Stamp Co. in Melbourne, a stalwart in the Florida Stamp Dealers Association.

Dear Help!: Sometime in the last three to six months (I think) FLORIDA TODAY ran an article about a Merritt Island business that helps people with their TV options, helping people to cut the cable cord and assess other options. I have not been able to find the article.
