Jordan Reed sank a pair of late 3-pointers — his only points of the day — to help lift New Hampshire to a 57-52 win over Binghamton on Saturday.

The Wildcats (9-13, 5-3 American East) trailed 50-47 when Reed got the dish from John Ogwuche and drained a 3 to tie it at 50-50 with 1:42 to play. Then, with the scored knotted at 52, he made another 3-pointer to make it 55-52 with :22 left.

Binghamton opened the second half on a 14-7 surge to take a 39-35 lead. Tanner Leissner made a jumper and a 3-pointer back-to-back midway to give the Wildcats a 41-40 edge but they went nearly seven minutes without a field goal after that to trail 48-43 with 4:45 left.

Leissner scored 20 points for the Wildcats. Josh Hopkins added nine points and Iba Camara led the team with 20 rebounds in addition to his seven points.
