Aston Villa eye Scott McKenna
Aston Villa fancy beating Hull City to Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna, according to The Scottish Sun.
The Tigers have had three bids - the latest worth more than £700,000 - rejected by the Scottish Premiership outfit for the 21-year-old defender.
Steve Bruce has had his scouts running the rule over McKenna’s progress this term and is considering a bid.
Hull are expected to launch a fourth offer after Nigel Adkins watched McKenna in action on Wednesday Aberdeen lost to Rangers at Ibrox.

Leeds United transfer blow
Leeds United are unlikely to sign a striker before the January transfer window slams shut.
That is according to Football Insider, who claim Elland Road bosses have little cash left in their budget for more arrivals.
Leeds have spent more than £7million on new players this month.
They do not intend to make anymore signings unless Sunderland target Andy Lonergan leaves the club.

Fulham’s Ryan Fredericks option
Fulham have an option to extend Ryan Fredericks’ contract for an extra 12 months.
The 25-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season but the Daily Mirror report that Craven Cottage chiefs plan to activate the extension clause.
Premier League sides Southampton and Swansea are interested in signing right-back Fredericks.
But Fulham have told both clubs that they will not allow him to leave.
