The Way — Nazarenes were the precursor to today’s Christians
Believers in Jesus as resurrected Savior and Lord were not called Christians until the year 46 AD during the Apostle Paul’s ministry in Antioch of Syria where the believers were primary non-Jewish (Acts 11:26).
Back in Jerusalem they were called followers of “The Way,” or Nazarenes.
