Louisville man, Massillon woman arrested; Massillon police seize loaded gun, ammo, crack pipe

A wanted Massillon woman and an Louisville man were arrested when Massillon police seized a loaded gun, ammo and a crack pipe.

MASSILLON Police arrested a Louisville man and a wanted Massillon woman at a traffic stop, seizing a loaded gun, ammunition and a pipe used to smoke crack cocaine.

Scott L. Fox, 48, of 614 High St. in Louisville, and Nichole D. Adams, 36, of 511 Fifth St. SW, were arrested at 9:40 p.m. Friday at Sixth Street and Perry Avenue SW where police conducting the traffic stop, according to Stark County Jail records.

Fox reportedly had a loaded handgun and a loaded magazine within arm's reach. He was jailed on felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, and on a misdemeanor turn-signal violation.

Police had a warrant for Adams' arrest on an aggravated drug possession charge.

When they asked her to exit the vehicle because she had a warrant, she initially resisted arrest and then ran away, jail records show. Officers took her to the ground where she continued to resist arrest.

Police reportedly seized a crack pipe from her.

Adams was jailed on the warrant and on charges of cocaine possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and another drug possession charge.

Both remained jailed Saturday. Fox was held in lieu of $25,000 bond and Adams without bond, each pending a Massillon Municipal Court hearing.
