Karen Abercrombie, who portrayed “Miss Clara” in the film “The War Room” will be the featured speaker on Thursday, Feb. 1, as San Angelo area residents gather for the National Prayer Breakfast, which begins at 6 a.m. in the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive.

According to organizers,  Abercrombie is known “as the feisty little 80-year-old prayer warrior,” who is also a Parents Choice Award winning storyteller and motivational speaker.

Tickets are priced at $5, and can be purchased at Blair’s Western Wear, Pinkies, and at the door.
