The former Emmerdale actress documented her lunch date with the dancer on her Instagram story, leaving viewers convinced about the supposed romance.

Taking a close up shot of her meal, the 33-year-old cheerily announced: “Delicious food today.”

She then panned the camera to reveal the 27-year-old sitting opposite, and asked : “Gorks how much do you like your fajitas?” (sic)

The Strictly professional, who was pictured digging into the food, said: “A lot.”

As they shared a joke, the close bond between the two of them was impossible to miss.

The upload came after months of speculation that Gemma is dating the dancer, who was partnered with The X Factor 2008 winner Alexandra Burke on the BBC One show.

Earlier this week, Gorka shared a flirtatious clip of the actress’ bottom as they worked up a sweat in the gym.

The cheeky video showed the former Hollyoaks star exercising on a bike in tight black leggings, with only a peach emoji covering her modesty.

The duo, who are currently performing across the UK for the Strictly Come Dancing live tour, were also spotted looking cosy in Newcastle this week.

Doing nothing to dispel the rumours of romance, Gemma, who is partnered with Slovenian dancer Aljaž Škorjanec, shared the sweep snap on her Instagram account.

Looking relaxed in each other’s company, the pair smiled for a selfie as they enjoyed coffee together.

The Manchester-born star captioned the upload: “Day off in Newcastle so decided to explore. Got as far as the first cake shop.”

The pair have denied claims they are in a relationship, with Gemma insisting she’s currently single.

Speaking about the rumours, she told the Sunday Mirror: “I don't think anything of it.

“I know what's going on in my life so whatever everyone else wants to think I just let them think it because I know.”

Stars including Alexandra Burke, Joe McFadden and Debbie McGee will join the duo to continue the Strictly Come Dancing: The Live Tour at Manchester Arena today.
