The IPL Auction 2018 is taking place today (January 27) and boy oh boy, is it getting interesting. The premier most cricketing league in the world attracts a lot of attention, courtesy the popular cricketers, from across the globe, playing for the different franchises. This year a reshuffle was ordered and all the top stars that were retained by the franchises were put to the auction with several new names coming in. Yuvraj Singh, who has played for Kings XI Punjab and Rising Pune Supergiants, was also auctioned in the morning session and guess who snatched him up? It was none other than his former franchise – Kings XI Punjab. Owner Preity Zinta and her team snatched the all rounder for his base price of Rs 2 crore, after no other team showed interest.
Yuvraj Singh has not been in top form, but Preity and his team are confident that he will be in hot form when the IPL season starts. In fact, Preity was so happy that she couldn’t keep calm after buying Yuvraj in the IPL Auction 2018. For those of you who don’t know, Preity and Yuvraj share a warm bond and are very good friends. Yuvraj was the captain of Preity’s team for the longest time and they share a warm camaraderie.
