THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram Chief Judicial Magistrate Court has on Saturday acquitted former transport minister A K Saseendran in the sleaze talk case, paving way for his return as a minister.
The court’s ruling comes as the complainant in the case, a media personal, has informed that she has no complaints against the former minister.
The court also rejected the bail submitted by Thycaud native Mahalakshmi seeking not to settle the case.
The complainant, a channel reporter had the other day stated to the chief judicial magistrate that she doesn’t remember whether the former minister misbehaved with her. She had also informed the court that everything has been settled. She said that she is not interested in going forward with the case and that she is not sure whether it was the former minister who made the sleazy talks.
The complaint had first stated that he misbehaved with her when she went to interview him. A case was registered following that.
