KOCHI: The vigilance have submitted a charge sheet against former PWD secretary T O Suraj, stating that he has illegally amassed 314 per cent more wealth than his income would permit.

The Ernakulam Special Vigilance Cell submitted the charge sheet at the Muvattupuzha Court on January 23, 2018.

Suraj had amassed illegal wealth during his tenure as the PWD secretary. His financial transactions since the past 10 years have been subjected to scrutiny.

The charge sheet states that his house in Kochi, godown, and other buildings have been acquired illegally.
