THE founder of information technology firm NVT Group has assumed the role of executive chairman with commercial director Hamish Fraser replacing him as managing director.
Stephen Park Brown had been managing director since 1998 and the transition has come as he marked 20 years since he created the managing director position, and 30 years since the company was founded.
Mr Park Brown said the change marked an “extremely important juncture in the history of NVT Group,”

Mr Fraser, who has been with NVT Group for 12 years, said there would be no fundamental change to the company’s strategy.
“This industry doesn’t move slowly so we just have to make sure we have the right capability and capacity to take the business to the right level, and I think we do,” he said.
For the 2017 year, Mr Fraser said turnover would be about £7 million.
