That's the verdict of former Serie A star and football agent Massimo Briaschi, who says the deal on offer is "important" to Roma and the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.

Chelsea have turned to Dzeko this month with Antonio Conte desperate to sign a back-up option to first-choice striker Alvaro Morata.

And he could make the move to west London alongside Roma team-mate Emerson Palmieri.

Dzeko's switch has been held up by concerns the 31-year-old has over how much game time he'll get at Chelsea.

Express Sport understands Olivier Giroud has been earmarked of Dzeko refuses to move.

But Briaschi reckons Dzeko will end up joining the Blues before the transfer window slams shut.

"Now he has a foot in London," the former Juventus hitman told Tutto Mercato Web Radio. 

"There are still situations to be fixed but I think he will go to Chelsea. 

"The proposal is important for Roma and the player."

Dzeko's potential arrival at Chelsea could see another forward head for the exit door.

Antonio Conte has confirmed he's willing to loan out Michy Batshuayi if he gets a striker on-board.
