The other two who were arrested with Nathuram have been identified as Dinesh Chowdry and Budharam. It was initially believed that he was murdered by Nathuram. However, it later emerged that inspector Munisekar, instead of shooting the robbers during the encounter, mistakenly shot at Periyapandian. A couple of days ago, Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami presented Rs one crore to the family of Periyapandian.
