Harmony Philo scored 20 points and Gloversville ran its winning streak to six with an impressive 62-43 victory over Queensbury on Thursday in a Foothills Council girls' basketball game in Queensbury.

Gloversville built a 42-23 lead by halftime over the North Division-leading Spartans, the fifth-ranked Class A team in the area in the Times Union rankings.

Abby Doin made four 3-pointers and finished with 12 points for Queensbury. Hailey Ballard added 10 points.

Kendra Lavery chipped in 15 points for Gloversville.

More girls' basketball: Amsterdam, the fourth-ranked Class A team in Section II according to the Times Union rankings, got 17 points from Jaclyn Stanavich and 14 from Guiliana Pritchard in beating South Glens Falls 56-42. The Rugged Rams outscored South High 35-24 in the second half. Mackenzie Collier scored a game-high 23 for the Bulldogs. ... Hudson leapfrogged Greenville for first place in the Patroon Conference by beating the Spartans 63-60 in Greenville. Mykal Walters led the Bluehawks with 15 points. Ava Fitzmaurice led Greenville with 22 points, five rebounds, five assists and eight steals. ... Madison Meyer scored 21 points and had seven steals as Duanesburg jumped out to a big lead early and cruised to a 52-33 win over Bishop Maginn. Meyer had 14 points in the first quarter to help stake the Purple Eagles (10-5, 4-4) to a 17-3 lead. Saiomi Willington led Bishop Maginn with 16 points. ... Ashley Tynan and Toni Jaramillo combined for 21 points as New Lebanon edged Germantown 44-42 in a Central Hudson Valley League game. Tynan sank a 3-pointer and scored six points in the fourth quarter. New Lebanon was 22-for-32 from the foul line. Riley Gibbons (12) and Hannah Byrnes combined for 22 points for the Clippers.

Girls' bowling: Elizabeth Ross rolled a 225 single and 654 series to lead Mohonasen to a 21-11 win over Schenectady. Sara Polomaine had a 266 high game and 709 series for the Patriots.
