Turkey has become the top market for Sri Lanka's tea exports.

The growth was indicated in last year's (2017) data.

Turkey had imported 35.4 million kilogrammes of tea from Sri Lanka last year.

As a percentage, it was 13% of Sri Lanka's tea exports.

Iraq is the second best market while Russia has slipped to the third position.
