SAN ANGELO —An Angelo State University student and 32 year-old San Angelo woman were arrested in separate drug busts.
Justice of the Peace Susan Werner issued a warrant Thursday, Jan. 25, to search a residence in the 700 block of West 15th Street, according to a San Angelo Police Department news release. There, investigators with the Street Crimes Division seized suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Elizabeth Saldana, 32, of San Angelo, was at the residence and was arrested and charged on possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
She was released Friday from the Tom Green County Jail on a $7,500 surety bond and a personal recognizance bond.
A second warrant issued by Werner on Thursday led investigators to a residence in the 4200 block of South Jackson Street.
Investigators searched the residence and vehicle of David J. Lumpkins, 22, an information technology student worker at Angelo State University.
Officials seized a quantity of LSD, Vyvanse, THC oil, MDMA, marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia and about $500, the release states.
Lumpkins, who was later found on the ASU campus, was arrested and charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
He was released from jail Friday on bonds totaling $53,500.
Angelo State University Police, the Center for Tactical Medicine and SAPD's K9 Unit and Patrol Division assisted with the operations.
