Though the snowfall warning for the city has ended, light snow is expected to continue over the weekend.
The City of Saskatoon has up to eight plows and 25 graders available to deal with the streets.
City officials said snow crews will be focusing on clearing high traffic roads like Circle Drive first, with priority streets expected to be cleared within 72 hours.
Snowfall warnings remain for areas around Martensville, The Battlefords, Prince Albert, Meadow Lake, and La Ronge.
Environment Canada expects the snowy weather to remain through Saturday, staying north of the Yellowhead Highway, with less snow in the south.
The snowy weather may cause icy roads and traffic delays.
