DUBAI: UAE prepares for the launch of its third satellite of the Yahsat family called the Al Yah 3.

With just a few hours away from the launch, the Senior Network Operator, Muntasir Abdullah Murad Al Mazem, sent a message on social media expressing his pride to be a part of such a wonderful journey.

The first satellite Al Yah 1 was launched in April 2011 followed by Al Yah 2 in April 2012.

In another message on their social media account, they said, “The launch of Al Yah 3 extends the coverage to another 20 markets, reaching 60% of Africa’s population and marks our entry into Brazil, covering more than 95% of the population.”
