Author Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove Series was turned into a hit Hallmark TV show.

CANTON  The next installment of the Stark County District Library’s Dr. Audrey Lavin Speaking of Books Author Series will feature New York Times’ bestselling author Debbie Macomber.

Known as “the official storyteller of Christmas,” Macomber will appear on another holiday - Valentine’s Day - at 6:30 p.m. at the Canton Palace Theatre. 

Her bestsellers include the Cedar Cove Series, which was turned into a hit Hallmark TV series. Her novels have spent more than 1,000 weeks on the bestseller list with 13 hitting the No. 1 spot. She has been honored with the Quill Award for romance, a lifetime achievement award by the Romance Writers of America and a RITA award for romantic fiction.

The evening will end with a book signing. Friends of the Library volunteers will have copies available for purchase.
