David Kuyper died January 15, 2018 at his home. He is predeceased by his wife of 49 years Alice Faye, daughter Krystal, and parents Eugene and Adrianna Kuyper.
Survivors are daughters Tracey Kuyper, Valarie Pinkston, and Kerry McGrew; grandchildren Kristen, Chance, Brody, Dalton, Jeff, Garrett, Kyndl, Kylan, Kash, and Kady; four great-grandchildren; siblings Judy (Charles) Jacob, Lee (Pauline) Kuyper, Clark (Pam) Kuyper, and Karen (Bill) Poe along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
David graduated from Arkadelphia High and Henderson. He retired from the USDA after a long career in meat plant inspection.
David loved the outdoors. He grew up fishing for smallmouth in the Caddo River from Amity to Arkadelphia. He was an avid quail hunter and always had a good bird dog or two. He put his green thumb to use by growing a huge vegetable garden every spring and then sharing its bounty with family and friends.
Most of all though David (Peepaw) loved his family and they loved him and they will miss him dearly.
