Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao signed on the concerned file on Thursday, a release from his office said. Section 506 relates to punishment for criminal intimidation, while Section 507 concerns criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication.



The release added that it is the state government's discretion whether to take up cases under the said sections with or without the permission of court.
