Deputies: 3 Durant High students hit by vehicle; suffer non-life threatening injuries

Three Durant High students suffered injuries Friday morning after being struck by an SUV at a Valrico bus stop.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the injuries are not life-threatening.
Deputies said the students were struck at Miller Road at Bonterra Boulevard, which is just south of Highway 60. Deputies said two ambulances were called to treat the children.
Miller Road remains shut down in both directions, just south of 60.
Deputies said the driver of the SUV also is a Durant High student. The student was not injured and remained at the scene. Durant High administrators also are at the scene.
