Area Girls Basketball: PR-B shoots down Wildcats

LAPORTE—Riley Hirshey hit 7 of 10 3-pointers in the first half and finished with 23 points for the Pine River-Backus Tigers who tamed the Laporte Wildcats 67-30 in Thursday's Northwoods Conference game.

Gabby Rainwater also had a hot hand for the Tigers going 4-for-4 from the field and 4-for-4 from the line finishing with 12 points, eight rebounds, six assists and five steals.

Alyssa Semmler contributed 15 points, nine rebounds and five steals.
