The 2018 Senior Bowl is set to kickoff on Saturday in Mobile, Alabama and features some of the top prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft, after a week's worth of practices in front of scouts and personnel executives from the Eagles and every other team across the NFL.
Here's an in-depth look at some of the prospects that the Eagles should keep a close eye on in Saturday's all-star game as they build their draft boards:
NCAA Football: Senior Bowl-North Practice
DaeSean Hamilton - WR, Penn State
By all accounts, Penn State wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton has been among the standouts during Senior Bowl practice this week, showcasing his smooth route-running, reliable hands, and tenacity when it comes to fighting for contested passes from the slot receiver position.
Hamilton, 6-foot-1, 204 pounds, finished the 2017 season with 53 catches for 857 yards, and nine touchdowns while averaging 16.2 yards per reception.
The Eagles could potentially move on from Torrey Smith this offseason, and Hamilton is expected to be drafted sometime between Rounds 3-5, but could add speed as well as quality depth to a wide receiver position group that has been bolstered by Nelson Agholor's renaissance this season.
