LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Fabian Xavier Slaton sold heroin laced with fentanyl to an undercover officer in October 2016, according to police.
Prosecutors charged Slaton, 24, with two counts of dealing heroin and two counts of possession of heroin.
Back on Oct. 17 and Oct. 18, 2016, Slaton was the man selling heroin to an undercover police officer.
Slaton told the buyer to meet him in the parking lot at the Georgetown Apartments on Shoshone Drive, according to the affidavit.
At each buy, Slaton sold the officer heroin, which later tested positive for being laced with fentanyl, according to the affidavit.
The news isn't likely to shock Slaton, who is incarcerated at the DOC's Putnamville Correctional Facility, where he's serving time for a heroin dealing conviction, as well as for theft and neglect of a dependent. His release date is July 2021, according to the DOC website.
