Woman's throat-slit body found

Feni: The throat-slit body of a housewife was found in Sonagazi upazila on Friday morning.

 

Deceased Shahana Akter Moni, 55, was the wife of freedom fighter Sirajul Islam, a resident of the upazila.

 

Local people spotted Moni's body in their house in Sheikh Bari village in the morning, said Sonagazi Model Police Station officer in-charge Harunur Rashid.

 

Being informed, police sent the body to Feni Sadar Adhunik Hospital morgue, the OC added.

 

Police detained four people in this connection.
