A custodian at Glenallen Elementary School was arrested Thursday in Englewood for possessing child pornography.
Detectives tracked the man, 55-year-old Robert Hudson, using his IP address, a code connected to specific Internet networks, and saw that he had downloaded more than 60 files of child pornographic images.
Hudson has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography. He is currently in custody at the Sarasota County Jail. No bond has been set at this time.
None of the images found on Hudson’s computer appears to be related to students at Glenallen or within the Sarasota County School District, according to the district’s spokesperson.
