Bite Lithuania subscriber base grows 3% in 2017

Mobile operator Bite Lithuania announced that its subscribers base totaled 1.09 million at the end of 2017, up by 3 percent year-on-year. The operator invested EUR 15 million in its LTE network in 2017, and the refresh of it retail chain cost EUR 1 million.

Smartphone sales grew by 13 percent in units and jumped by almost a third in revenues at shops of the operator.  

Bite aims to cover 99 percent of the country's area with its LTE network by this spring.
