Many people often have issues with their partner’s bathroom etiquettes and many times couples fight over the same. And a news report of a husband giving a note on bathroom rules to wife to follow emerged a few days back. A husband in Brisbane, Australia couldn’t tolerate his wife’s bathroom habits and to counteract the same he laid out a set of rules. The husband who was very frustrated with his wife’s bad bathroom habits penned a note and stuck it on the bathroom mirror for her. “I thought the idea of twin vanities in, meant we got our own — you know, His and Hers. Why is it then, that my vanity basin has become a permanent storage container for your makeup brushes, bottles, lipsticks and whatever other ‘girl-magic’ you practise,” it read.

The language used in the letter was bit strong but the note ended with the message: “I love you very much – please change bathroom habits”. The picture quickly went viral and sparked debate on the internet. Some netizens sympathised with the husband while others felt that it was way too much. The woman who received the letter, Kath Rose, told ABC that she saw the funny side of it but she felt it was more of a written warning. The note was shared by ABC Brisbane.  Here is the note.

“It’s more a written warning, and I can put my hand on my heart and say it’s my first written warning from my current husband. I’d like to think it’s my first and final. He made a really important point about bathroom politics and marriages and how it’s important to be open about it and chat … about how you share bathrooms because it could really be a reflection of the marriage.” What are your views on same?
