Usha Ananthasubramanian, MD and CEO of Allahabad Bank, has been elected as the Chairman of the Indian Banks' Association (IBA). She will be the Chairman for the year 2017-18.

IBA is an assoication of banks and financial institutions of the country and is based out of Mumbai. Incidentally, Ananthasubramanian is the first woman chairperson of the association.
