CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - The FBI says a second man wanted in a North Carolina bank robbery and shootout with police has been arrested.
A statement from the FBI said 27-year-old Rashad Donovan Young of Whiteville is charged with five counts of assault on law enforcement officers, two counts of second-degree kidnapping and possession of a forearm by a convicted felon, among other charges.
Young is jailed on a $1 million bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Friday. It's not known if he has an attorney.
Authorities have also arrested 29-year-old Jermaine Ross Vaughn in connection with the robbery. He is also jailed on a $1 million bond.
According to police, four men robbed a Lumberton bank on Tuesday and exchanged gunfire with officers before fleeing. Two suspects remain at large.
