After Purdue beat Michigan in a thriller last night to win their 16th straight game, IndyStar's Gregg Doyel says the Boilermakers are a national title contender. But where do other pundits think the Boilermakers end up in March?

Jerry Palm (CBS Sports) has Purdue as a 1 seed in the Midwest region. Auburn, Clemson and Texas Tech are the next seeds. Duke, Villanova and Virginia are the other No. 1 seeds.

Joe Lunardi (ESPN) also has Purdue as a 1 seed in the Midwest. Kansas, Cincinnati and Clemson round out his top four seeds in the region. Villanova, Virginia and Duke are the other No. 1 seeds.

Patrick Stevens (Washington Post) also has Purdue as a 1 seed in the Midwest (sensing a trend?) Texas Tech, Clemson and Kentucky are his Nos. 2-4 seeds in the region. Villanova, Virginia and Duke are the other No. 1 seeds.

Bleacher Report says (wait for it) Purdue is a 1 seed in the Midwest. West Virginia, UNC and Tennessee are the next seeds in the region. Villanova, Duke and Kansas are the other No. 1 seeds. Purdue is ranked the second-highest seed overall.

Sports Illustrated also says Purdue is a 1 seed in the Midwest. Oklahoma, UNC and Cincinnati round out their top four seeds. Villanova, Virginia and Duke are the other No. 1 seeds.

Sporting News says Purdue is a 1 seed, although it doesn't go into specifics of matchups. Villanova, Virginia and West Virginia are the other No. 1 seeds.
