Tractor Supply Company has started construction on a new store at 67500 S. Main St., Richmond.
According to a company news release, the store is expected to be open in the spring.
The store plans to hire 12 to 15 employees.
“We’re not just building a store, we’re building a team that understands the needs of the Richmond community,” said District Manager Dale Torbet in the news release. “At Tractor Supply, we carry products that support the lifestyle our customers lead, the land they own and the animals in their care, so whether you are someone who raises horses and pets, runs a hobby farm or just enjoys the rural lifestyle, we’ll be there to make sure you have all the tools you need.”
Products include workwear and boots, tractor and trailer parts and accessories, lawn and garden supplies, sprinkler and irrigation parts, power tools, fencing, welding and pump supplies, riding mowers and more. The Richmond store will also carry food and supplies for pets, horses and livestock, as well as a pet wash station.
Simmons Construction is building the 31,170-square-foot retail space.
The store opening will kick off with a four-day grand opening celebration.
