Deputies: Attempted abduction in Holiday under investigation

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating an alleged kidnapping involving an 11-year-old girl.

According to deputies, a man tried to grab the girl who was on her bike around 5 p.m. near Whipporwill Drive and Jarvis Street in the Colonial Hills area of Holiday. The girl was not injured.
Deputies said the suspect is a light-skinned Hispanic male or a darker skinned white male.
The man was a shorter adult with a medium build, possibly middle aged, dark longer hair touching the shoulders, full scruffy beard with some bald spots with grey hair mixed in the dark hair, wearing a light blue shirt with holes in it, light colored shorts wearing grey socks and no shoes.
