He explained he only the retweeted the post because of the threat posed by radical Islamic extremists.

Piers Morgan broke the news he was going to be interviewing the president on Twitter, saying: “*BREAKING NEWS* I will sit down today in Davos with @realDonaldTrump for his 1st International TV interview since becoming President.
"It will air exclusively on ITV, this Sunday night at 10pm.”
Morgan interviewed the president at Davos, where Trump will be giving a speech today at 2pm local time (1pm GMT) today.
‘President Trump - The Piers Morgan Interview’ will also be shown on ITV+1 at 11pm and will be available to watch on the ITV Hub.
