BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — Two senior citizens were among three persons facing charges in connection with the rape and killing of a five-year-old girl in Bago, Negros Occidental.
Salde Caspe, 63; Job Villanueva, 61, and his son, Glen, 40, were arrested and charged with rape with homicide before the Bago regional trial court on Wednesday.
The body of Noelita del Carmen, 5, was found stuffed in a sack in a shallow grave around 50 meters away from her residence in Purok Malungga, Barangay Malingin on Tuesday. Her slippers were reportedly found at the house of the Villanuevas.
Autopsy results showed the girl was raped.
