GALESBURG — The Galesburg High School freshmen boys basketball team held off Peoria Notre Dame in the fourth quarter in a 57-55 win on Thursday.
The Silver Streaks led 36-22 after the first half. The Irish rallied for a 14-6 third quarter to close the gap to 42-36. PND outscored Galesburg 19-15 in the fourth quarter.
Kyleb Meadows led the Streaks with 16 points. DeMarco Harden added 15 points and Jase Atwater chipped in 11 for Galesburg.
