She further said that the DMK is a democratic party and anyone can join it. " Udhayanidhi is welcome to serve the party. I will be happy if he does it," she further said. Udhayanidhi, son of DMK working president M K Stalin and grandson of Karunanidhi, said recently: " I am a member of the DMK since my childhood and I would not hesitate to become full-time politician. In fact, I was involved in campaigning and other activities before I ventured into cinema."



At present, Udhayanidhi runs Red Giant Movies and also takes care of Murasoli, the daily newspaper and the mouthpiece of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. His new acting venture 'Nimir', directed by veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, has hit the screens on Friday.
