Khaleda's adviser Taimur freed on bail in 2 vandalism cases

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Adviser Taimur Alam Khondaker was released from jail hours after the High Court and a Narayanganj court granted him bail in two separate vandalism cases yesterday.

Taimur's daughter Barrister Mar-e-um Khondaker told The Daily Star that her father walked out of jail in Narayanganj around 5:00pm. Taimur got released on bail two days after he was arrested in Narayanganj city in connection with the cases filed for vandalising and torching vehicles on January 19, 2015 during the BNP-led alliance agitation, she said.
