Golden chance to see WC trophy

Saturday is the final chance for local soccer enthusiasts to catch a glimpse of the FIFA World Cup trophy, which is on display at Central Festival Phuket



Organised by Coca Cola Thailand,  the FIFA World Cup Tour Trophy Thailand event allows the public to see the 4.970kg trophy, which is made of pure gold.  

Accompanying the  prestigious trophy is former Real Madrid star Cristian Karembeu , a member of France’s 1998 World Cup-winning team.

Karembeu and national coach Sirisak Yodyatthai will also conduct a football clinic for 50 youngsters from the southern province.  

The World Cup will take place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July.
